מגפת הקורונה בישראל ממשיכה להתפשט: לראשונה מאז פרוץ המגפה בישראל ישנם מעל 20 אלף חולים פעילים. ביממה האחרונה (שני) נוספו 1,234 חולים חדשים בנגיף קורונה.
כמו כן ביממה האחרונה (שני) נערכו כ-21,568 בדיקות קורונה. ביממה האחרונה נוספו 6 מונשמים חדשים. מדובר בעלייה דרמטית כתוצאה מעלייה של מספר החולים קשה. בסך הכל ישנם 183 חולים שמצבם מוגדר קשה.
בסך הכל נפטרו 365 כתוצאה מנגיף קורונה מאז פרוץ המגפה. מחצות נפטר עוד בן אדם אחד. כזכור, בוועדת הקורונה של הכנסת לא אישרו את הגבלות הממשלה והחליטו להחריג את הבריכות ובתי הכושר מההגבלות.
סגן השר יואב קיש התייחס לנתונים ולעלייה במספר החולים הקשים וכתב: ״מתקרבים לשיא (השלילי) של הגל הראשון עם קרוב ל200 חולים קשים מאושפזים. הבדל אחד דרמטי ומצער, בגל הנוכחי גרף החולים קשים בקצב עלייה משמעותי. לצערי, אנחנו נחצה את 200 החולים קשים. חייבים לשמור על ההנחיות ולהימנע מהתקהלויות. אוכלוסיות בסיכון חייבות להימנע ממגע.״
